BATHYMETRIC MAP OF DERUYTER RESERVOIR

PROCESS: Bathymetry data was gathered from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation website. Data was also collected from Cornell University Geospatial Information Repository (CUGIR). This information was then combined in Arc GIS and AutoCAD to create vector lines. These vector lines were then used to laser cut the layers of the model.

MATERIALS: 1/8” birch plywood, Minwax semi-transparent wood stain, Titebond wood glue, pre-made wood frame.
