Mack A. Conan

I am a Junior Landscape Architect with NYC Parks, where I have the privilege of designing public spaces that are inclusive, environmentally conscious, and enriching for the communities they serve. I hold a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Planning from Binghamton University.

I’ve always been driven by a desire to help others, and I discovered landscape architecture during my undergraduate studies as the perfect way to merge my passions for community and environmental stewardship.

My work focuses on creating spaces that promote connection, inclusivity, and sustainability. I am motivated by a vision of public spaces that inspire understanding and healing while serving as vital resources for their communities.

A hobby of mine has been aerial photography through the use of various Unmanned Aerial Systems. I am currently working towards receiving my FAA Part 107 UAS License so that I may one day apply my skills to my work in a professional capacity.
